Delivery Information
General
* Despatch times. We try to keep in stock all the items on our website. The most popular items are least likely to be out of stock unless unavailable from the suppliers.This means that the large majority of orders are despatched on the next working day following the order being placed. We process orders and despatch goods from Monday to Saturday.
* Delivery cost. We use a sliding scale for delivery costs based on the weight and value of the order.
* Checking delivery cost. To check the delivery cost of an order place the item(s) in the 'Shopping Basket' by clicking the 'Add to Basket' button.
* Links to our couriers' websites are available on our links page in the Information section.
UK
*Standard delivery. Our standard UK delivery uses Royal Mail First Class Post and for orders over 2.75kg nett uses either DHL 2/3 day or DHL @ Home 48. The DHL 'Home' delivery services are new and offer delivery times day and evening to residential addresses. If the first delivery fails then two further attempts are made giving an excellent delivery success rate.
*Express delivery. For 'next day' delivery service we use Royal Mail Special Delivery and DHL Home 24. 'Next day' means the next working day (Monday to Friday) following our despatch. Orders received by 11am will be despatched on the same day. For orders placed close to this deadline please telephone your order. We might be able to send out Royal Mail Special Delivery parcels as late as 4.30pm but this might incur an extra charge.
Outside the UK
*The cost shown on the Shopping basket page is for deliveries within the UK. To check the cost for deliveries outside the UK select the country from the drop down box and click the update button.
